Messy Messy Fail - I had planned on soaking my ranunculus corms and planting them outside, however we have had such a mild spring I may have missed my opportunity!  This flower in particular does not like warm weather.

Tidy Victory - I've been good about trying to organize/declutter one thing every day - big or small project.  The other night I was pressed for time, so it was just a basket on an end table.  Another night I had an hour, so I cleaned up the mud room.  Anything is definitely better than nothing!

Messy Messy Fail - Are you like me, where you feel you have all of this extra time throughout the week so you save things that need to happen, but then you just run out of time?  I ran out of LOTS of time this week.  

Tidy Victory - I'm ready to try out a new tubing mascara from Essence - it's called No More Panda Eyes and I cannot tell you how excited I am to try it!  The fallout is supposed to be minimal so you don't have those flakes underneath your eyes.

Messy Messy Fail - The state of my fridge is revolting.  I need to go in and get rid of all the leftovers which are probably moldy!  

Tidy Victory - With this unusually warm spring my bulbs are blooming EVERYWHERE!  I put many new daffodils and tulips in last fall and am so excited to see them all coming up!

Messy Messy Fail - Now this wasn't my messy fail, but the story needs to be told.  Every year for Easter, I order a couple ropes of fresh polish sausage from Wegmans, usually a week or two ahead of time, to make sure it's available.  Ordered it last week, wanted to pick it up yesterday.  I arrive yesterday to do just that (pick it up) and I am informed that there was a mix up at the warehouse and they are doing a special delivery of sausage today for those that order it.  As I am sitting in the parking lot of Hannah's cancelled swim lesson (which I did not know about either lol), I call to check on the sausage - they only got 6 ropes but they are saving two for me!

Tidy Victory - I have my dough and filling ready to make homemade pierogies tomorrow for dinner!

Messy Messy Fail - I missed making a reservation at Great Wolf Ontario, CA over winter break last February.  I waited to long so prices got real high and it even sold out of rooms!

Tidy Victory - I got it booked for spring break, and we are really looking forward to going there!

Messy Messy Fail - The dog and the cat keeping tearing up my garden chasing each other - how can I keep them out???

Tidy Victory - Just picked up beautiful purple hyacinth and discounted palm plant at Walmart!  Every year I buy myself an Easter hyacinth and then plant it out in the side garden for the following year.

Messy Messy Fail - I keep having to flick dried up animal parts off of my side porch due to the gifts that our new addition Lewis (the cat) keeps leaving us.

Tidy Victory - Easter dinner is ordered - didn't it come up quick this year?  I always grill a couple pounds of fresh polish sausage, make fresh perogies and cucumber salad.  Maybe even some deviled eggs this year!

Messy Messy Fail - I had purchased and planted a bag of 25 snowdrops last fall - so far I only see 2 :(. They should be sprouting now, these and crocuses are usually the very first to come up!

Tidy Victory - I found some ranunculus that I had accidentally left planted in the garden had sprouted - supposedly that plant is not hardy in our zone (which has been newly rezoned 6a instead of 5b) - I'm excited to see if it blooms!  In the meantime, I am going to get the rest of the korms I have soaked and in the ground.

Messy Messy Fail - I found the dog outside barking like a maniac this morning, and upon investigation......

Tidy Victory - SHE WAS HAVING A STANDOFF WITH A BEAVER!  I am very happy that it was not a porcupine because that could have ended badly, but we had a good time checking him (or her?) out up close and encouraging her (or him?) to go back to our neighbor's pond.  Super interesting!

Messy Messy Fail - This isn't necessarily my messy fail, but it has been a BRUTAL winter for skiing.  If it wasn't raining or too windy, there was hardly any snow.  I understand we live in Western New York but COME ON!

Tidy Victory - The boys still have a good time riding to the ski resort with their friends on the bus - they are actually really good about not complaining and making the best of the situation since there is nothing we can do.  Good life lesson!
